Description
We offer for your consideration this vintage Kodak Kodascope Movie Projector. This Kodascope
Eight-71A
was produced in 1950.
This is a solid little tabletop projector, the frame/ housing is metal with a textured dark copper brown finish. The only plastic on this machine are the knobs.
There is a service sticker on the bottom with a 1955 date. The servicing must have been pretty good, because this projector is still working today, 65 years later.
This projector does not have any reels included, but they should not be difficult to source.
Check out the pictures for a good idea of the fantastic condition of this projector.
This projector comes with a pretty stylish case too. The case closely matches the projector in color.
Strangely
this case is labelled Bell & Howell, but it looks to house the Kodascope projector perfectly. The handle on the case has long since rotted away, and an improvised handle has been made using some cotton cord and electrical tape.
So if you are a moviemaker who shoots in 8mm, you will need this awesome projector to display your work.
Or if you are a collector of vintage projectors, this gem will be a very nice, useful addition to your collection.
