Scarce and highly collectible
original first printing
concert poster advertising legendary
Neil Young
at the Waldbühne in Berlin [Germany] on Monday, 14th August, 1995, in support of
Mirror Ball
— his 21st studio album, produced by Brendon O'Brien and released on 8th July, 1995, by Reprise Records. Featuring members of Pearl Jam, the album reached #5 on the
Billboard
200 album chart and was eventually certified gold by the RIAA. Following the completion of
Mirror Ball
, the members of Pearl Jam (minus Vedder) and producer O'Brien (on keyboards) joined Young in August 1995 for an eleven-date tour in Europe to promote the album. When the band toured, fans referred to them as "Neil Jam". Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready remembered, "It was a dream come true. We got to play a bunch of Neil Young songs with Neil Young himself and got to go to Berlin, to Jerusalem, to the Red Sea."
The poster measures 59.3 x 84.1 cm (approx. 23.3" by 33.1" inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition, ready to frame.
